Manna Meal depends on the generosity of our community—on people like you—to ensure that the hungry can eat. When you donate to Manna Meal, you’re not just helping to provide a meal or meet a basic need. You’re also giving a neighbor hope, access to a community, fuel to keep moving forward, and nutrition for the soul.
All donations to Manna Meal, Inc. are tax deductible.

Food donations are always needed and greatly appreciated, too! We utilize food donations in various ways—sometimes as ingredients in one of our meals, sometimes as items for our emergency food pantry. Many churches, businesses, and individuals choose to plan food drives on our behalf. If you would like assistance in planning a food drive, please contact us. We can help make your food drive a success!

Minimize food waste in our community
Minimize the harmful environmental impact of food waste
Every year, we recover hundreds of thousands of pounds of food to produce our meals. We receive food from businesses, restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals, catering companies, wholesalers, farms, farmers markets, and more!

Manna Meal is located inside St. John’s Episcopal Church in the heart of downtown Charleston, WV.
You can drop your donation off at the back door behind the church or shop directly from our Amazon wishlist.
Drop-off times:
Monday - Saturday: 7am - 2pm
Sunday: 7am - 3pm
We are always in need of the following food items:
Canned meat (spam, chicken, Vienna sausages, tuna, ham, sloppy joes)
Cereal – any kind, bagged or box
Peanut butter and jelly
Canned soup
Eggs
Pasta and pasta sauce
Macaroni and cheese
Beanie Weenies
Shelf stable milk

$10.00 gift cards to Family Dollar, Dollar General, or Kroger
Bus tickets*
*If you are considering donating bus tickets, please keep in mind that the cost is $2.50 for a day pass. Tickets can be purchased through the Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority.
