Garden Report - Manna Meal - so the hungry can eat

Garden Report

Our season began on March 20th and the garden is flourishing with the help of the many gardeners and groups who have donated their mornings to plant and harvest produce, pull weeds, maintain our watering system, turn the compost, whack the kudzu, and fix the fence to keep the varmints out.

We've been sending kale, beets, peppers, tomatoes, basil, garlic, beans, chard and carrots to local food pantries and the Manna Meal kitchen; the lovely, cool mornings have been perfect for picking.

We always welcome new volunteers and visitors to our garden.
